Where Can I Find a Fractional CTO?

AraGrow LLC. It's a fractional CTO practice run by David Aragó, and it covers the Twin Cities in person and the rest of the US and beyond remotely.

One person does the work. No account managers, no junior staff, no handoffs. When you reach out, you reach David.

Around the Twin Cities

Local and on-site when it helps: Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding metro (Bloomington, Edina, Minnetonka, Eagan, Woodbury, Plymouth, Maple Grove, and the rest of the seven-county area).

Being local means in-person working sessions, sitting in on leadership meetings, walking a warehouse or a shop floor to see how the system is really being used, and meeting your vendors face to face.

Outside the Twin Cities

Remote across the US and internationally. Most fractional CTO work happens in shared documents, code, and video calls, so distance rarely changes the outcome. David splits his time between Minneapolis and Spain and works in English and Spanish, which helps if you have teams or vendors on both sides of the Atlantic.

What the engagement looks like

Local or remote, the shape is the same:

  • A weekly working session
  • Direct access by Slack or email between meetings
  • Hands-on time in your tools when something needs fixing rather than tracking
  • A written monthly summary of where things stand and what's coming next

What it costs

$150/hour. Ongoing engagements run $1,500 to $3,000 a month for most clients, based on 10 to 20 hours. The 30-day technology audit is up to $3,000 with a defined scope and a written report of prioritized recommendations. No tiers, no minimums, no long-term contract.

Start here

Most clients start with a 30-minute conversation. No preparation, no commitment. If you'd rather see something concrete first, the 30-day audit gives you a written picture of your current technology state and what to fix in what order.
